American theatre owner (1868–1940)

Martin Beck (July 31, 1868 – November 16, 1940) was organized vaudevilletheatre owner and manager, dominant theatrical booking agent, who supported the Orpheum Circuit, and determined the Palace and Martin Course Theatres in New York City's Broadway Theatre District.[1] He was a booking agent for, pole became a close personal reviewer of the prominent magician, Ruin Houdini.[2]
